I started The Roaming Stone mobile sharpening service in 2017. I’ve worn many hats over the years, but these days I’m the jack of all trades on anything behind the scenes to help our team of Roamers with IT, scheduling, etc. My focus is to make sure everything runs smoothly so we can continue to Roam to Your Home and deliver top-notch sharpening services.

I’m Sam, and I joined The Roaming Stone team in 2020. My role here includes hiring, training, and onboarding new sharpeners, as well as expanding our services into new territories. I’m dedicated to growing our team and ensuring we provide top-quality, expert sharpening wherever we go.

Hi! I’m Eduardo, operations manager, and my primary role is to ensure our team of sharpeners, or Roamers as we like to call them, stays actively engaged and busy with appointments and events. Vasko has been a Salt Lake City Roamer for three years and was hooked from day one! He enjoys the ease of sharpening Wusthof knives and the challenge of perfecting pruners. When he’s not sharpening, you’ll find him rock climbing or skiing in the stunning mountains around SLC.

Raised on a ranch, Duncan learned to sharpen tools and blades at an early age. Being a Roamer for the past three years is a natural for him and great for Roaming Stone. He really enjoys those nicked and bent knives that need a bit of extra care and attention to detail.

Kevin is an accomplished pilot retired from the US Air Force. He recently joined The Roaming Stone to introduce his teenage boys to the art of excellent customer experience and the skills of expert sharpening. When not Roaming, Kevin enjoys skiing, motorcycles, mountain bikes, flying airplanes, and most of all spending time with his sons.

As a Roamer for the past year and a half, Eli enjoys that he gets to meet his neighbors. His time away from knife sharpening is filled with fishing, cooking and enjoying vanilla ice cream with his dog Honey.
