  1. Services

Roaming Stone provides mobile sharpening services for knives, garden tools, and similar equipment. While we aim to improve sharpness and performance, results may vary depending on the condition, material, and prior use of each item.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

By booking our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Ensure tools are accessible at the scheduled time
  • Inform us of any known damage (chips, cracks, rust, etc.) prior to service
  • Provide tools in reasonably clean and safe condition

Failure to meet these conditions may result in refusal of service or additional charges.

  1. Service Disclaimer

By using our services, you acknowledge:

  • Some tools may not be fully restorable due to wear or material limitations
  • Pre-existing damage may worsen during sharpening
  • Minor cosmetic changes (scratches, finish wear, or material removal) may occur
  • Not all items can achieve a “like-new” condition

All services are performed with professional care, but results are not guaranteed.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Roaming Stone is not responsible for:

  • Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or structural weaknesses
  • Breakage that occurs during normal sharpening of compromised tools
  • Injuries or damage resulting from the use or misuse of sharpened tools after service

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.

  1. Safety Notice

Sharpened tools are significantly sharper after service and must be handled with care. By accepting our services, you assume all responsibility for safe handling and use.

  1. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • Late cancellations may be subject to a fee
  • Customers who are unavailable at the scheduled time may be charged a no-show fee
  • As a mobile service, missed appointments may incur travel-related charges
  1. Booking & Access

  • Customers must be present at the scheduled time or provide clear access instructions
  • If tools are not accessible, the appointment may be treated as a no-show
  • Arrival times may vary slightly due to travel and scheduling conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe or unsuitable conditions.

  1. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards Only
  • We Do Not accept cash or checks.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  1. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of sharpening services:

  • All sales are final once the service is completed
  • We do not offer refunds for completed services
  • If you are unsatisfied, we may offer to re-service the item at our discretion

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service-related communications
  • Optional marketing messages (you may opt out at any time)
